Scope

Cabinetry and bathroom vanities across 32 residences

Location

La Mesa, California

Role

Execution partner and installation specialist

Cabinetry installation in progress at the Cantera development before countertops, appliances, and final finishing.

The Challenge

The project included cabinetry and bathroom vanity installation across 32 residences, organized into three unit types with mirrored configurations. At this scale, installation consistency becomes critical: repeated layouts must maintain the same standards for alignment, fit, and finish throughout the development. Small execution differences in one unit can become recurring problems when multiplied across an entire project.

INSTALLATION PLANNING & UNIT-TYPE CONTROL

UCON organized the installation around three core unit types and their mirrored configurations. A repeatable execution approach was applied to cabinet placement, alignment, fit, and bathroom vanity installation. This maintained a consistent standard across the development while allowing each residence to be adjusted to its actual field conditions.
