UCON Estimating — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
This policy explains how UCON Contemporary Interiors ("UCON", "we") handles data in UCON Estimating ("the App"), an internal application used only by UCON staff.
What data the App accesses from QuickBooks Online
Customers: name, company, email, phone, billing and job-site address.
Products and services used on estimates.
Estimates, invoices and payments created in UCON's QuickBooks Online company, including their status and links between them.
Why we use it
To create and update estimates for UCON customers in QuickBooks Online.
To show UCON staff the status of estimates, invoices and payments for UCON's own jobs.
We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising, profiling or any purpose unrelated to UCON's operations.
What we send to QuickBooks Online
Customer details and estimate lines (description, quantity, price). Internal cost, labor-hour and margin data stay inside UCON systems and are never sent to QuickBooks Online or to customers.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share QuickBooks data with third parties. Data is processed only by UCON and by the infrastructure providers that host the App (cloud hosting in the United States), under their standard security terms.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a managed database hosted in the United States.
All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
QuickBooks access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shown to users.
Access to the App requires a UCON company account; access is limited by user role.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while it is needed for UCON's business and accounting records. When the App is disconnected from QuickBooks Online, stored access tokens are deleted. Requests to delete data can be sent to the contact below.
Disconnecting
A QuickBooks Online administrator can disconnect the App at any time in QuickBooks Online: Apps → Connected apps → UCON Estimating → Disconnect.
